“Intro to Lakes” Online Course
If you are interested in learning more about lakes, we will cover the fee for the Michigan State University course “Intro to Lakes”. This online course provides an overview of how lakes work, how we impact them, and what we can do to protect them. The course covers:
- Lake ecology
- Watersheds
- Shorelines
- Aquatic plant management
- Michigan water law
- Community involvement
The course is offered once each year beginning mid-winter. HRCOLA will reimburse active members. For reimbursement, upon completion of the course submit certificate of completion, receipt for course fee, name and address to [email protected]
