All memberships run from April 1 through March 31.
Basis Membership
Basic Membership includes 4 issues of Riparian Magazine per year, 2 HRCOLA newsletters per year, shorefront garden consultation, fee for MSU Learn about Lakes course and more.
Basic Members with waterfront properties on the Huron River Chain of Lakes from Zukey to Little Portage are invited to the annual meetings and are elegible to be Board Members, to elect board members and to participate in membership votes at the annual meeting every May.
Supporting Membership
Supporting members enjoy all the benefits of Basic Membership.
Additional fees are used to support activities to keep members informed including the website, social activities such as the pizza party (in August) and lake-family dinner (in March), and Facebook.
Lake Champion Membership
Supporting members enjoy all the benefits of Basic and Supporting Membership.
Additional fees are used to support activities that protect and improve the quality of water in our lakes such as water quality testing every summer and installation of a rain garden at the DNR launch site on Portage Lake.
